Steve Chávez
Steve also serves as a member of the Metropolitan Council and the City of Eagan technology task force. He is the board chair for Global Athlete Village, a nonprofit located in Minneapolis. Steve has been an adjunct professor at William Mitchell College of Law and has served in the same capacity at Hamline University Law School. He has served on the boards and committees of several nonprofit organizations, community foundations and units of local government in the Minneapolis area, including the St. Paul Foundation, United Way of Minneapolis, and he served as a conciliation court referee
for Hennepin County in Minneapolis for several years.
Steve earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Notre
Dame Law School and his Bachelor of Arts in Government from
Saint John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota.
